With a Master of Social Work degree & over 22 years experience in adult and children's mental health, child protection, family law as well as palliative care and grief, I bring my passion to my work with individuals, families and couples.
I am rooted in Attachment and Systems Theory, neuro brain development, and have a trauma-informed lens. I utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and EMDR. I also draw on art/play therapy with children and youth. My expertise includes supporting healthy parent-child relationships, adoption preparation and/or breakdown, grief & loss, separation/divorce/reunification, & relationship repair.
In a world filled with many changes, demands & responsibilities, people struggle to find balance & direction. I also offer counselling for anxiety, depression & for people to explore their own personal life challenges and goals.

My Philosophy
Everyone deserves the opportunity to explore their personal challenges while reflecting on patterns of thinking & behaviours that may be blocking personal growth. I seek to provide an empathic, non-judgemental & collaborative space to explore your goals & develop alternative strategies that encourage & promote positive outcomes. Creating a personal space focused on you, can lay the foundation for self-improvement & fulfillment. My philosophy holds true whether you seek individual support for you, your child, as a couple or as a family. I look forward to working together to reduce distress & experience increased happiness.
